Educational Effectiveness: Models, Methods and Applications
The second Biennial Meeting of the EARLI Special Interest Group 18 intends to provide a forum for the presentation and exchange of research findings and innovative ideas regarding educational effectiveness. It has been titled "Educational Effectiveness: Models, Methods and Applications". The keynote lectures will be given by Prof. Dr. Stephen Raudenbush, Prof. Dr.
Robert E. Slavin, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Baumert and
Prof. Dr. Jan-Eric Gustafsson.
The aim of the SIGEE meeting is to provide a forum for the presentation and exchange of research findings and innovative ideas regarding educational effectiveness.
The SIGEE conference will address a broad range of topics in educational effectiveness research.
The main focus is on effects of schools, teachers, teaching methods and educational policy on cognitive and non-cognitive student outcomes.
We also welcome submissions on the methodology of educational effectiveness research (research design, topics in multilevel modelling, etc.).
Submissions can refer to all sectors of education (early years, primary, secondary and higher education), different disciplines and different educational systems.
The conference is relevant for education researchers, methodologists and practitioners with an interest in educational effectiveness.
