Desequens
Introduction
Description
Desequens is an R-package that allows to examine and disentangle the contributions of different sources of variability in sequential processes. Desequens provides an easy and automatic routine that performs the analyses and calculations necessary to obtain the variance components estimates and combines their results in an intelligible overview.
Authors
Desequens was created by Sofie Frederickx, Peter Kuppens, Francis Tuerlinckx and Iven Van Mechelen of the Research Group of Quantitative Psychology and Individual Differences of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.

Getting Desequens
What
Download the Desequens-package ("Desequens_1.0.zip" file) to your computer. To install the Desequens package go to the "package" menu in R and choose "install packages from local zip files..." and load the "Desequens_1.0.zip" file. Next, type library("Desequens") in the R script and execute this command.
Conditions
The Desequens package is offered free of charge to anyone interested in variance decomposition of sequential processes, provided that you properly cite the software and the papers mentioned above and that it is not used for financial profit. Requests to use Desequens for any commercial purpose must be directed to the authors. Desequens comes without warranty of any kind.
