Training

The doctoral training programme aims to broaden and deepen your knowledge of the research field and to encourage the development of diverse competences that will enhance the quality and efficiency of the doctoral research being undertaken and/or help advance your professional career within or outside the University.

The doctoral training programme of Psychology and Educational Sciences consists of a common core (“truncus communis”) and a complementary component. More information about the content of the common core can be found on the webpage of the doctoral training.

The complementary component of the doctoral training programme consists of additional activities and training opportunities which you can select according to your research interests and career plans within or outside the University. You can adjust this complementary component to your own interests, provided it does not conflict with your position as a doctoral student and does not affect negatively the duration or quality of the doctoral research.

The following training initiatives can be choosen as part of the complementary component.

Training initiatives of the Faculty

Research seminars

Research seminars are organised by the research groups of the Faculty and give the opportunity to a member of that research group (ZAP, postdoctoral or doctoral student) to present his/her research activities. In general the members of that research group participate but also colleagues from other research groups are welcome to join. Anncouncements of research seminars appear in the Faculty Agenda.

Which journals are also available in electronic version and where can I download articles?

It is also usefull to consult the website of the Faculty's Library (PBIB).
